On deck

Dexter Little League, along with other leagues in our district, are holding out hope to still be able to hold some sort of hybrid spring/summer/something season in 2020, and plan to follow safety precautions laid out by our state & local governments, and the guidelines for safe play provided by Little League International.

Once we have an idea of what the season could look like, we will communicate that to our families to get a count of how many players are still interested in playing. We had about 50 kids request refunds as part of our survey last week so it's exciting to see how many of you are willing to see what happens.

Our goal would be to have a regular season and playoffs (similar to our normal spring season format). The District is looking at perhaps doing a small tournament where the winner of the regular season tournament would play against the regular season winners from other leagues in the district. District 3 is also planning to host a district tournament ("All-Stars") for those players who are interested.

That's all we know right now - we are just in the on deck circle waiting for our turn to PLAY BALL!
