Dexter Little League day and times:

 1/31 - 2/27 - Registration
2/28 - Late Registration begins. $25 late fee, and player may be waitlisted
3/11 - Player Evaluations 9am - 5pm Dexter High School (age-specific times will be available March 1st)
4/15 - Opening Day Celebration/Games 
4/17 - Games begin
6/10 - Closing Day 
6/12 - 6/16 - Make-up games will be played if needed 

Season Game Schedules: For all divisions except Teeball, two games are scheduled per week. Expect at least 1 additional day per week for practice. Practice days/times are chosen by each teams’ coach. All leagues are expected to play at least two Saturday games, Opening Day (4/22) and May 13. Planned game days for each league are as follows, but may be adjusted depending on numbers of teams:

• Majors Baseball: Tuesdays and Thursdays
• Majors Softball: Mondays and Wednesdays
• Minors Baseball: Mondays and Wednesdays
• Minors Softball: Tuesdays and Thursdays
• Machine Pitch Baseball: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (2 games per week)
• Machine Pitch Softball: Tuesdays and Thursdays
• Tball: Saturdays (1 hour practice followed by 1 hour game)
• Challengers: Sundays

Key Information:

- Players must live within the Dexter Community School boundaries or attend Dexter Schools in order to play Dexter Little League. 

- Players must register for their appropriate Little League age which can be determined by reviewing the age charts above or on the Dexter little League website. Requests to play up or down a division must be made in writing to the Player Agent Jared Dykstra via playeragent@dexterlittleleague.com. A form is available in the registration portal for these requests. Please do not complete registration until the player agent resolves your request.

- Players must be registered with the correct DOB. Not doing so will make your player not eligible for the 2023 DLL season. DLL reserves the right to check birth certificates at evaluations.

- Evaluations are used to help create teams that are competitive with each other, and all players are expected to attend evaluations (even coaches’ kids). Evaluations will be held at Dexter High School on 3/11/23 for all divisions EXCEPT TeeBall. TeeBall parents will self-evaluate their player during registration. 

- Dexter Little League is committed to making baseball & softball available to all families and has financial assistance options available. - Regular registration closes on February 28th; $25 late fee is assessed after that date and late registrations may be waitlisted depending on numbers of players/teams on that date.
