Introducing the 2026 Dexter Little League Board!

Bill Logan

[email protected]

My name is Bill Logan, and I am entering my third year as President of Dexter Little League. I truly enjoy the camaraderie within our community and have a passion for teaching kids the game of baseball while watching them grow both on and off the field.

Outside of Little League, I spend my time with my wife, Sara, and our sons, Billy and Braison. When we’re not on the diamond, you can usually find us at the hockey rink, on the lake, or traveling together. We’re an adventurous family who enjoys making the most of every opportunity.

I am grateful for the chance to serve in this role and to support the development of our players. All board positions, including mine, are 100% voluntary, and with a fun, dedicated, and hardworking board, I’m excited for what we can accomplish together during the 2026 season. Please feel free to say hello if you see me—or any of us—around the fields.

I'm a baseball mom that's been on the board as sponsorship director for the past 3 years. All my kids have gone through Dexter Little League and we absolutely love this amazing community. Looking forward to serving again this year - let's do it for the kids!

Charlie Gagne, Treasurer & Umpire-in-Chief

[email protected], [email protected]

I have been on the Little League Board since 2003. I have a son and daughter who played during 2003-2006 and I coached both baseball and softball. When my kids stopped playing, I started umpiring and became the Chief Umpire in 2009. I’ve been involved in lots of aspects of the DLL over the years. I had the honor of being the plate umpire for the 2016 State Majors Championship game.

Megan Hayes, Secretary & Scheduling

I have two boys who have been involved in DLL since 2021 and will be again this year.  My husband was head coach in the spring league of 2023 and assists each year when he can. I have a little experience being the “Den Mom” as I call it- communicating with team parents and coordinating locations, snack schedules, new game apps to download on our phones, etc… This is my first year serving on the board and look forward to having a great season.

Melissa Koke and Mel Joling, Communications Director

[email protected]

Melissa is thrilled to begin her first year serving on the Little League Board! Over the past two seasons, she has loved coaching in the T-ball division and getting to know so many wonderful players and families. Melissa looks forward to helping create an amazing season for all the kids and supporting the league in any way she can.

Mel is excited to serve on the Little League Board. I have two kids who absolutely love baseball, and as a lifelong Detroit Tigers fan, the sport has always been a big part of our family. I grew up playing softball and know firsthand how meaningful a positive, encouraging experience can be for young athletes. I’m looking forward to helping create that same supportive environment for our upcoming players and helping them develop a love for the game.

My son and daughter are both graduates of Dexter Little League. I've coached at all levels of softball and baseball for Little League, and have had the honor of coaching the 10U Softball All-Star Team to a District 3 Championship in 2017 (with an appearance in the state Little League tournament in 2017), and the 12U Softball All-Star Team to a District 3 Championship in 2018. I also coached the 10U Baseball team in 2019 and 12U Baseball team in 2021 to a District 3 Championship and state tournament participants. I also founded Huron Valley Baseball Academy with fellow board member Rob Edgcombe to help kids find opportunities to play baseball and softball at all levels. This is my fifth year on the DLL board.
