Eligibility
Players older than 7, determined by the little league age calculator, must live within Dexter
Community School District boundaries or attend Dexter Schools.

• A new rule allows players ages 4–7 and their siblings to play in any league regardless of
school or residency. Therefore, they do not need residency or school verification.

• If your player, older than 7 years old, does not meet residency requirements, complete the
Residency Exception Form before registering. A DLL Board Member will contact you.

Age & Division
Players may only register for the division based on their date of birth.
Confirm eligibility using the 2026 Little League Age Charts.
Requests to play up or play down must be submitted using the Play Up / Play Down Request Form.
Do not register until contacted by the DLL Player Agent or President.

Date of Birth Requirement
Players must be registered with their correct date of birth.
Incorrect DOBs will make a player ineligible for the 2026 season.
DLL reserves the right to verify birth certificates at evaluations.

Games are played at:
• Creekside Quad Fields
• Mill Creek Fields
• Hudson Mills Metropark
• Peace Lutheran – Steffey Field

Note: Hudson Mills Metropark charges an entrance fee, including drop-off. Please be
aware this is an added cost. Due to the number of registered teams, we need to use these
fields. Since many residents use and purchase the metro park yearly pass already, we do not
include an extra cost in registration for this. Check out https://miactivitypass.org/ for a
one-time daily pass through the Dexter Library. Be aware that there are limited passes per
day.

Season Dates
April 20 – June 13, 2026

Opening day Saturday May 2nd /Closing Day Saturday June 13th . All players should be aware
and able to play on those dates.
Most teams play two games per week, weather permitting.
Tee Ball plays one day per week.

Tee Ball: Saturday (1 hour practice + 1 hour game)

Baseball:
• Machine Pitch: Mon / Wed / Fri
• Minors: Tue / Thu (NEW)
• Majors: Mon / Wed (NEW)
• Juniors: Varies (Interleague)

Softball:
• Machine Pitch: Tue / Thu
• Minors: Tue / Thu
• Majors: Mon / Wed

All Stars
If anyone is planning to be considered for All Star Selections, please email
[email protected] or [email protected] for further dates and
information. Practices for All Stars usually start the week after closing day and we will
compete in a pre-District tournament in Commerce township.

Privacy Policy
You will be asked to acknowledge the Little League Privacy Policy twice during registration.
This cannot be removed at this time.
