In the summer we offer tball, Machine Pitch baseball, Machine Pitch softball, Minors (kid pitch) baseball, Minors (kid pitch) softball, Majors (kid pitch) baseball and Majors (kid pitch) softball.
Age & DivisionPlayers may only register for the division based on their date of birth.
Confirm eligibility using the
2026 Little League Age Charts.In the summer DLL typically allows players to "play up" to the division they would be the next spring. So if you have a 6 year old who would be Little League age 7 for spring 2027, they would be eligible to play Machine Pitch for the summer.
- The division that a player is eligible for based on their date of birth is the only option available for registration. A player's Little League age can be determined by reviewing the 2026 Little League International age charts.
- Games are played in Dexter at Creekside Quad fields, Mill Creek fields, Hudson Mills Metro Park and Peace Lutheran Steffey Field. Please note that the Metropark charges an entrance fee (even if you are just dropping off for a practice/game). Visit this link for more information.
- Players must live within the Dexter Community School boundaries or attend Dexter Schools in order to play Dexter Little League. If a player does not live within the Dexter Community Schools boundary, please fill out this form (link coming soon before proceeding with registration. A league board member will contact you shortly on how to proceed.
- Any players that are requesting to play up or down a division should do so via this form. Please do not proceed with registration until you are contacted by the DLL Player Agent or President.
- Players must be registered with the correct DOB, not doing so will make your player not eligible for the 2026 DLL season. DLL reserves the right to check birth certificates.

Majors - 9/1/2013-8/31/2016 (11 & 12 yr olds)
Minors - 9/1/2015-8/31/2017 (9 & 10 year olds)
Machine Pitch - 9/1/2017 - 8/31/2019 (7 & 8 yr olds)
TeeBall - 9/1/2019-8/31/2021 (5 & 6 yr olds)

Majors - 11 & 12 yr olds
Minors - 9 & 10 year olds
Machine Pitch - 7 & 8 yr olds
DEXTER LITTLE LEAGUE ALLOWS KIDS TO "PLAY UP" TO THE DIVISION THEY WILL BE NEXT SPRING without completing a Play up waiver.. So 6-year-olds can play to Machine Pitch, 8-year-olds can play up to Minors, etc.
Tentative days of game play, depending on numbers of teams:
Season runs July 6-August 1. Teams generally play two games/week, weather-permitting. Rained out games will not be made up.
