Our Annual Meeting is coming up on Monday, October 7th at 6:30 PM in the Mill Creek Middle School cafeteria. The purpose of the meeting will be the election of the Board of Directors, appointing committees, and receiving reports from the current Board.
We invite all friends of DLL to attend the meeting (see agenda below). Regular Members in good standing are allowed to vote and be nominated for a position on the board and each regular member shall have one vote per position.
- Regular Members: Those adults who are guardians of Player Members, all current managers, coaches, adult umpires, Board Members, and any other person recognized by the Board as a volunteer of DBSC/DLL in the 2019 season. Recognized volunteer means that a form is on file with the Safety Director for the 2019 season.
- Player Members: Any child whose registration has been accepted by the DBSC for the current fiscal year. Player Members participate in baseball and softball practices and games. Player Members shall have no rights, duties, or obligations in the management orin the property of the DBSC/DLL. Player Members must reside within the boundaries of the District and meet all other eligibility requirements of Little League International.

There are 18 Board positions and all positions will be voted on; regular members can run for any position. DLL is a great organization and it is a great time to get involved with the Creekside Quad almost complete and many great improvements finished this past year. It will be fun and we hope you will consider joining us as a Board Member or a Committee Member. Several Board positions are great for rookies (Member-at-Large, Secretary, Safety Director, and Equipment Manager) and we have amazing people who will guide you through it. We do this for the kids. Come help us make it great for them!
